Vince Fredrick and his wife, Mitzi, have lived in the Village of Grogan’s Mill in The Woodlands for 35 years. Vince has been in MUD #36 for 21 years. Vince is currently retired from a major oil and gas exploration and production company.
Work Experience
• Contract manager for a major production platform in the Gulf of Mexico. Responsible for delivery of safety, environmental, production and cost targets for a facility staffed with over 100 people and expenditures of over $350 million per year.
• Implemented Safety and Environmental tracking software globally with a user base of over 100,000 users.
• Designed and managed multiple environmental remediation projects including several Superfund projects that included groundwater remediation and treatment.
• Health Services Manager for a national engineering and construction company. Projects include construction of water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Worked as a Chemist in a laboratory that sampled and analyzed a wide range of media including water and wastewater.
Education
• University of Arkansas at Little Rock, BS in Chemistry with a minor in Engineering
• Master level studies in Industrial Engineering (no degree).
Community Involvement
• Grogan’s Mill Residential Design and Review Committee, member for 22 years. Current Chairman.
• Grogan’s Mill Village Association, Director for 3 years. Current Vice President
• The Woodlands Farmers’ Market, market operations volunteer for 2 years.
