MUD 47 Craig Rickard


Craig Rickard is a 24-year resident of The Woodlands. He and his wife Elizabeth raised 4 sons in Cochran’s Crossing where they volunteered in CISD activities; their oldest Joseph is serving in the US Navy, their second boy Patrick lives in Sterling Ridge, their sons Peter and Thomas attend College Park HS and are members of the award winning JROTC drill team.

Craig currently serves as a fiscally conservative MUD 47 director with a focus on advocating for residents. This past year Craig voted to increase the tax exemption for seniors and disabled households by $5000. He also voted to reduce the tax rate by 9.7 %.

Craig is an active supporter of conservative causes in Montgomery County and The Woodlands and his wife Elizabeth was recently elected Precinct 38 Republican Chair.

Craig graduated from the University of Houston in 2000 with a BBA in Entrepreneurship and has been in professional recruiting for over 20 years. He is active in UH alumni circles, Catholic men’s groups, and Houston business organizations.
