MUD 67 John Thaeler

John Thaeler and wife, Helen, have lived in Cochran’s Crossing since 2009. John is a retired senior executive and technical professional with extensive leadership and managerial experience combined with a passion for leading people to do the right things to improve our entire community.

Work Experience:
 A retired senior executive (CEO, COO and SVP) and technical professional (Petroleum Geologist) with extensive experience in leading diverse, sophisticated, multidisciplinary organizations.
 A proven track record in building high performance teams, inspiring creative and effective solutions, and delivering timely economic successes.
 A demonstrated proficiency managing annual budgets over $500 million to achieve world class results such as helping drive a company’s market cap from $200 million to over $12 billion in just a few years.

Community Involvement:
• Active volunteer and/or donor with many Montogomery County charitable organizations including CASA, the Food Bank, Meal on Wheels and Angel Reach.
• Active in local politics including election poll worker and campaigning for Republicans.
• One son and family live in Alden Bridge.

Education:
• University of Houston: MBA with a concentration in finance
• University of Cincinnati: MS Geology
• Cleveland State University: BS Geology
